Korra

Avatar Korra was born in the Southern Water Tribe and is the immediate successor of Avatar Aang. She currently resides in Republic City, where she is mastering airbending under the guidance of Tenzin. A gifted and powerful bender, Korra has fully mastered waterbending, earthbending, and firebending. Her aversion to the spiritual side of bending, however, hindered her ability to airbend until she unlocked it shortly after losing her ability to bend the first three elements; she has yet to master the skill. Later, with the assistance of Avatar Aang's spirit, as well as those of the other Avatars, Korra regained her control over water, earth, and fire and also gained the ability to energybend and to go into the Avatar State.
