2010 Snow Miku Hatsune by PiercePapercraft 2010 Snow Miku Hatsune by PiercePapercraft

(For #VocaloidOCClub group contest. I won first place. ^^)

Hatsune Miku is the first Japanese Vocaloid 2 in the Vocaloid 2 Character Vocal Series, the third Japanese Vocaloid created by Crypton Future Media, and is the seventh Vocaloid to have appeared overall. She is considered as the most popular and well known Vocaloid and the first to become a pop idol. The name of the title and the character of the software was chosen by combining Hatsu, Ne, and Miku thus meaning "the first sound from the future." The data for the voice was created by sampling the voice of Saki Fujita, a Japanese voice actress.

Really wonderful papercraft you have here! Okay, with my critique. This really looks wonderful. It's neat, and this shows you put effort into it.
For originality, there are many miku papercrafts out there, especially snow mikus that i saw, however, i never saw a niseke snow miku.
Technique here is brilliant. You really show skill in this papercraft. But the words look a bit confusing to see sometimes to others.
This papercraft is truly pleasant to the eye and catches a viewer's attention. Really nice!
Overall, this was a nicely done papercraft, good job and good luck in your contest!

Awesome work on this paper craft deviation here! Excellent job on the use of the blue, white, and grey color schemes on the doll. I very greatly admire the detail work on the doll's dress and sleeves, which makes her outfit seem to come alive here. I especially adore the snowflakes on the doll's pigtails and bangs, as these snowflakes will give the doll itself a more festive look. I also admire the cute expression on the doll's face, giving her the appearance of excitement over the coming holiday season. I look forward to downloading and building her. Thanks so much for sharing this deviation!

I don't think I understand the whole inside and outside pigtails... Do you glue the inside to the outside? Or are there 4 pigtails?

Awww she is really really cute . Fantastic job! I've never made any papercraft dolls or anything like that . So i'm really excited to try now . I know this is kind of a stupid question , but like I said i've never done anything like this before . When printing out the template , is there a specific way to do it? What I mean is do you just print it out on regular printing paper , or is there a special , thicker paper you use or do you print it out and transfer it onto something else? I'm sorry i'm so noobish to this hehe Any help would be greatly appreciated
